Thank you for sharing your struggles and all that God has been teaching you through them. I am in the UK but hoping to get to Prince Edward Island next year God willing. Hoping it lives up to expectations!

PEI was lovely - and different than I imagined. Even so, I highly recommend a visit!

God meant for me to read this today!

This morning I was singing “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” on repeat to help chase away some fears.

Your thoughts gave me insight and took me to scripture I needed to read.

God bless you and your family, Kim.

Thank you for sharing this - what an encouragement! I often sing (or hum) that hymn as well. Focusing on God's character certainly shifts our perspectives.

Beautiful memories Kim. Although they may be hard they are your life. When we look back on our lives we sometimes wonder how we made it this far but the answer is thru faith and trust in a loving God. I know he has been with me my entire life. As Melody said you do have your mother's spirit. She has been my dearest friend for many many years and you since birth. She and I have always been there for each other and will be forever. Love to you and your beautiful family. Keeping you in my prayers!

God bless you and your family Kim. You have so much of your mother’s spirit in you which is evident in your beautiful and faith filled writing. Your mom is the kindest, most unique person to walk this earth. Truly an angel and I am a better person just for having the privilege of knowing her for many years. Prayers have been and continue for you all daily. Much Love and gratitude 🙏

Beautiful reminders and I was deeply encouraged as I read so much scripture through this post. I'm so thankful God has allowed our friendship to cross paths.

“Hardship does that. It distracts us and pulls our attention toward the sound of our pain instead of the song of our Redeemer.” How much deeper and more loving would my relationship with God be if I simply asked and trusted rather than acting like a child and grumble my requests to God like the Israelites? He granted their requests. He provided for them. Yet if they had asked and trusted, their faith in and love for their Provider would have deepened.

I must remember and in my actions point people toward God (to The Way to God), not influence them away from God.

So much of this spoke to me Kim! The scriptures and truth were like milk and honey to my soul. Keep up the good work my sweet sister! Your influence and impact are being used by God!
